14.8 million euros from the ERDF funds of the INTERREG POCTEFA program to finance structuring cross-border cooperation projects in the areas of employment, mobility, and multilingualism to strengthen development and cohesion in the territories of the Western Functional Area "AFOMEF"

On Friday, February 14th, the members of AFOMEF's Steering Committee—composed of representatives from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, Euskadi, Navarra, the Department of the Atlantic Pyrenees, the Community of Agglomeration of the Basque Country, and the Provincial Government of Gipuzkoa—met to advance the proposal of projects that will be presented to the programming committee of the POCTEFA program.

Yesterday, 23 October at 2:00 pm, the official closing of the call for projects of the POCTEFA AFOMEF programme took place, a key initiative to promote the development of the cross border 'life basin' in the Western Functional Area.

On Friday 24 May 2024, the webinar for the AFOMEF call for projects launching took place.

The call seeks to fund structuring projects to boost employment, mobility and multilingualism in the cross-border territory.

The AFOMEF call for projects will remain open until 23 October 2024 at 14h.

The program launches a video presentation to introduce one of the main novelties within the new POCTEFA 2021-2027 program.
