Publication of the final programming resolution for the six strategic projects of AFOMEF

The final programming resolution for the six strategic projects of the Western Functional Area (AFOMEF) has been officially published by INTERREG POCTEFA program. These projects, which will be carried out over several years, will implement concrete actions to improve the living and working conditions of the inhabitants of the cross-border region, while supporting economic growth and sustainability.

The programming of the six AFOMEF projects represents a key step in the implementation of AFOMEF’s Territorial Integrated Strategy and the Political Objective 5 of POCTEFA, which aims to bring Europe closer to its citizens and promote greater territorialization of FEDER funds. This initiative continues the consolidation of cooperation between the territories of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Euskadi, and Navarra.
